International Center for the Arts of the Americas (ICAA)

The ICAA is the research arm of the Latin American art department. The mission is to collect, exhibit, research, and educate about the diverse artistic production of Latin American and Latinx communities, including Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and artists of Latin American descent in the United States. Through the ICAA, the MFAH seeks to bring about a long-term transformation in the appreciation and understanding of Latin American and Latinx visual arts in the United States and abroad.
